Alison’s death came after a courageous battle with illness, surrounded by family and loved ones who will forever cherish her memory. Born on January 22, 1972, in Hartford, Connecticut, Alison was the beloved daughter of Michael and Laura Romkey. Growing up in the small, tight-knit community of Bolton, Alison quickly became known for her warm heart, infectious smile, and kind spirit.

As a professional event planner, she organized numerous weddings, corporate gatherings, and social events that will long be remembered for their elegance and attention to detail.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Alison’s life on December 3, 2024, at St. Pete Beach Community Center in Florida at 2:00 PM, and a second service will be held in her hometown of Bolton, Connecticut at Bolton Congregational Church on December 7, 2024, at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to The American Cancer Society or The Bolton Community Fund, two causes Alison held dear.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude for the love and support they have received during this difficult time.
